I graduated from college in June of 2010 knowing two things — that I wanted to write, and I wanted to live abroad. After a short stint back at home in the dirty South, I jetted off to Georgia-the-country, the story of which you’ll find pretty thoroughly documented in this blog. Now I’ve moved onwards and upwards to the Czech Republic, where I’m a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Liberec, a city about an hour to the north of the only city you’ve heard of in the Czech Republic. If you want to read on, you can hear me talk about hockey, eventually complain about winter, and hopefully also keep on wondering how I got so lucky to be living in such an awesome place as this.
